Young scientists from Russia and the Netherlands will meet at the ICT-Conference in Amsterdam.
The conference is expected to be attended by 25 young Russian scientists and an equal number of undergraduates and graduate students from various universities in the Netherlands.The Conference is held within the framework of the Russian Federation Government Decree № 220 (involvement of leading scientists in the Russian universities) in the subject area "Information Technology", direction "Supercomputing and Grid technologies." Professor Peter Sloot professors ITMO A. Boukhanovsky are organizing this conference.
The Conference will be held from 2nd to 6th of April 2012. All the participants-winners of the competition will be provided with travel expenses to the conference venue (tickets) and accommodation (including meals).
The purpose of the conference is discussion of present and future of computing science, research and practical development of the basic aspects of high performance computing and simulation in solving a wide range of problems in science, industry and business.
The program includes performances of leading world-class scientists - Prof. Dr. Jack Dongarra (USA), Prof. Dr. Bastien Chopard (Switzerland), Prof. Dr. Neil Johnson (USA), Dr. Vittoria Colliza (France), Dr. Mike Lees (Singapore), Dr. Anwar Osseyran (SARA, Amsterdam).
