Biography

Education

Olga Eliseeva has graduated from Herzen University with a major in mathematics and computer science. For her PhD thesis, she studied educational and cognitive competencies in students during geometry classes.

Career

2016-present – various positions at ITMO University;

2007-2016 – held the position of a leading specialist at the educational and methodological department and then was elected the head of the department of educational standards and programs.

Before 2016, Olga Eliseeva was an assistant and then an associate professor at Herzen University. 

Responsibilities

  • plan, organize, and manage educational and methodological activities of the university’s unities associated with using educational technologies to design and implement major Bachelor’s, Specialist’s, and Master’s and inclusive education programs;
  • create collaboration systems, including network ones, between Russian and international educational centers and institutions to promote joint scientific and methodological research and conferences, design educational and methodological manuals to exchange experiences and communicate positive practices of educational technologies in learning, and implement inclusive education projects. 

Research

Among Olga Eliseeva’s projects are: the implementation of Herzen University’s innovative educational program The Creation of the Innovative Training Systems for Humanities Technology Experts in the Social Sector; the development of the federal state educational standard of higher education in the field Pedagogic Education (Bachelor’s and Master’s); the implementation of Herzen University’s development strategy for 2012-2016; the design of scientific and methodological support and testing of a student academic mobility system at Russian higher education institutions; and many others.
