Biography

Responsibilities

  • organize Russian courses for students from the Foundation Program, as well as Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students;

  • implement Russian as a foreign language courses for students from the Foundation Program, as well as Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students.

1999 – Master’s in teaching Russian and German, Herzen University;

2002 – PhD in foreign language training, Herzen University.

2020 – Teaching Russian as a foreign language in a digital environment: methods and tools; 

2020 – Information technologies for teaching Russian as a foreign language; 

2020 and 2019 – Professional and pedagogical competence of an expert at the Unified State Exam in Russian;

2018-present – an associate professor and the head of the Russian department of the Foreign Language Training Center, ITMO University; 

2015-2018 – the head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language, ITMO University;

2007-2015 – a senior lecturer and then an associate professor in German and Russian as a Foreign Language at the Foreign Languages Department, St. Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Processing Technologies (now ITMO University);

1999-2002 – a German teacher, Herzen University;

1997-1999 – a German teacher, School No. 424.

Professional interests

Language teaching methods, translation, contrastive linguistics, and text linguistics.

Other professional activities

  • The chair of the Subject Examination Committee in Russian at ITMO University;

  • A Unified State Exam expert in Russian;

  • A member of the Academic Council of ITMO’s Institute of International Development and Partnership.
