Short Biography

Irina Livshits (Anitropova) was born in Leningrad in 1951. She graduated from Optical Department, Theory of Optical Devices Chair at Leningrad Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics in 1974. She received her PhD degree in Optics in 1981 at the same Institute, and title of Senior researcher in 1983 at the same Institute. The whole professional life (spanning over 35 years) Irina Livshits had been working for the Saint Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics as an engineer, research scientist, senior research scientist, associate professor, Head of laboratory, director of the educational center.

Teaching activity

Lecturing: prepared 3 educational courses of lectures: Composing and Optical Systems Design (in English), Technical Optics and Composition of Optical Systems (In Russian), Design of Optical Systems for Special Applications (in Russian).
