Semantically interoperable framework for clinical decision support in personalized healthcare

Professional activity

In his academic work, Georgy Kopanitsa tries to make healthcare transparent for professionals and accessible for patients through digitalization. The ultimate goal is to develop a theory of analysis and synthesis of intelligent medical information systems and methods of their modeling and design. 

Currently, he is focusing on the following topics: 

  • Standardization of medical data and treatment workflows to provide process level interoperability

  • Clinical decision support services to analyze and predict clinical paths

  • Patient empowerment tools to allow management and active contribution of self-observation data to increase adherence of the patients for better clinical outcomes.
