Education

Svetlana Ulasevich finished the Faculty of Chemistry at the Belarusian State University in 2008 and earned a PhD in chemistry.

Professional activity

2008-present – researcher and associate research professor at the Infochemistry Scientific Center, ITMO University;

2013-2014 – visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfacial Surfaces (Germany).

Awards

2018 – stipend of the President of Belarus for young scientists (Minsk, Belarus);

2017 – title of the best young scientist at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in 2017;

2017 – award for the best PhD thesis in natural sciences in Belarus in 2017;

2016 – her paper featured on the сover of the journal Macromolecular Bioscience 10/2016;

2014 – fellow of the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst;

2008 – award of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus for her contributions to the field. 

Professional interests 

Sonochemistry, electrochemistry, self-organizing systems, calcium phosphate-based biomaterials, and biomimetic materials.
