On 24 of February, 2014 the opening of Intercollegiate business game "Marketing Innovation" was held. Project was organized by ITMO University and FINEC. Especially for business game ITMO University has selected five innovative developments of its students and employees. Within the game these projects will be drafted for the market launch.

The game started with the fact that students- marketers of St. Petersburg leading Universities and developers of innovative projects from the ITMO University divided into teams and got acquainted with the rules of the game. Young scientists of ITMO University presented their innovations and their new colleagues-marketers presented the scopes of implementation and benefits of projects. The formed teams have Immediately involved in the workflow. With a serious and creative approach and willingness to serious and challenging work, they formed several interesting ideas to promote scientific research. Spectators of the event in their turn have developed scenarios of viral videos for teams to promote innovations in the Internet.

Six weeks of working on projects are ahead of the teams. During this time several master classes on investing venture projects, advice on marketing and expert interviews will be held for participants. During the half of the month contestants will have to prepare a deep market research of industry and market, financial and marketing plans of specific development. We wish them good luck!
