The results of the Forum showed that students can count on support from the state in the development of forms of student self-organization.

The next step was the Second All-Russian Student Forum 2004 in Tomsk. A number of proposals on legal registration of the student government have been initiated as a result of the Forum.

In 2007, the III All-Russian Student Forum was held in Krasnodar. The main theme of the discussion was not only the problem of the student government, but also the inclusion of student organizations in the process of modernization of the education system.

In 2011, the National Student Forum was held in Barnaul.  The main goal of the Forum was to involve organized students in the process of modernization of vocational education.
