    Description: The program focuses on training highly-qualified personnel in the field of computer science who can effectively use predictive modeling and data processing technologies in translational medicine and healthcare. The program’s curriculum includes disciplines such as: theory, methods and technologies for decision making in P4 Medicine (Personalized, Prevented, Predicted, Participatory Medicine); methods and algorithms for bioinformatics and genome research; methods of protein modeling and development of informational technologies for rational drug design; methods and models of physiologic processes in a human (Virtual Physiological Human); methods for modeling healthcare institutions operation and using those for improving the quality of healthcare; methods and technologies of epidemiological studies that involve Big Data technologies to analyze the interrelation of morbidity rate in the populace with external ecological, cultural and socioeconomic factors. The program includes a practice-oriented module of disciplines at the Federal Almazov North-West Research Center.
