International business and law institute was established in 2003 and has entered the structure of the St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics since 2007.

International business and law institute has existed as a supporting organization of the Federal service for intellectual property, patents and trademarks since 2008.

The institute's mission

Training and retraining of specialists and managers with unique professional skills which are necessary for permanent significant improvement of their lives and their businesses.

The purpose of the institute 

Creation of innovative models of educational structure of world-class to prepare unique specialists and managerial elite aimed at turning Russia into one of the global leaders in the global economy and its output to the level of socio-economic development of highly industrialized countries.

Focus on the formation of unique and professional communication skills and competencies. Preparation of managers and specialists which are successful in the art of decision-making of business and in practice of their implementation in crisis situations.

Specialist of customs gets a job placement and employment in the customs authorities and near-customs organizations sphere (brokerage firms, temporary warehouses, logistics centers, transport companies), in the federal and regional government organizations associated with foreign economic activity of large companies (Faculty of customs clearance, marketing Faculty, logistics, etc.).

Traineeship in customs authorities, government and major companies of St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Brussels, Geneva, Toronto is included in the training program of international business and law institute.

The program target for additional professional education program Management of Public Administration (MPA) is leadership training for all levels of management that can provide a fundamental understanding of the situational context and the dynamics of development of the public sector, and to develop universal organizational and analytical skills which are necessary for effective professional activity.

Customs management

Customs management course is designed for employees of the companies which are participant of foreign economic activity. One of the ways to improve efficiency is customs management training.

Customs management courses include the study of the customs legislation, training for customs operations, and the construction of administrative arrangements with customs.

Customs clearance

Rates of customs brokers or customs declarants (customs clearance specialists) are trained independently and competently execute the passage of goods through customs control, minimize spent time, reduce customs duties by legal means, allow to learn the proper customs clearance of goods.

Traineeship, multilevel approach to training (level 3 training - individual approach to each), regular software updates are included in training program of customs declarant.

State / certificate and qualification certificate of the FCS of Russia are issued after graduation.
