International Camp 'Phil.Tech'

International Camp "Phil.Tech"

International Camp "Phil.Tech" will take place on June 16 - 30, 2018 at Yagodnoe, ITMO U's forest camp. The project "Phil.Tech" provides an opportunity for students from different countries to take part in an exciting and important environmental cooperation.The program of the camp "Phil.Tech" consists of ecological actions, educational sessions about social design and ecological way of life, cultural evenings, aimed at formation of ecological competences.For two weeks, students from different countries will collect trash and clean up the area around Lake Berestovoye in the Leningrad Region. At the camp, the participants will also work on creating an exhibition of environmental prototypes (ecohouse), master classes and other projects. Representatives of various environmental organizations will talk about the separate collection of garbage, landscaping and restoration of quarries, about the plant and animal life of the Leningrad Region, as well as conduct ecological games and discuss social entrepreneurship.Interaction of different cultures, international exchange is another important feature of the Phil.Tech project. The program includes not only environmental events, but also events aimed at studying the culture of participating countries.To participate in the camp, register and pass an interview in English.
