Departments of Cryogenic Technique has a rich history, established traditions and future plans of development.

Currently, the training of manpower with higher education (bachelor and master of engineering and technology) is conducted on eight professional educational programs the content of which corresponds to areas of training at the Departments 140400 "Technical physics", 140500 "Power-plant engineering", 140700 "Nuclear power and thermal physics", 141200 "Refrigerated, cryogenics technique and life support systems" and specialties, specializations and profiles

  • 140401 "Equipment and physics of low temperatures", specialization "Cryomedical equipment"
  • 140504 "Refrigerated, cryogenics technique and air-condition", specialization "Cryogenic engineering and technology" and "Systems of liquefaction and separation of gases and their transportation"
  • "Equipment and physics of low temperatures"
  • "Systems of liquefaction and separation of gases and their transportation".

Distribution of specialists at work on a variety of enterprises of cryogenic profile including the basic enterprise of passing of predegree practice was carried out after successful completion of training.

Teaching and laboratory base of releasing Departments of cryogenics technique corresponds to the content of educational programs graduates, Bachelors and Masters. Educational laboratories are equipped with the necessary systems and tools to ensure the safety of operations, laboratory equipment, materials and are staffed by devices and installations for thermal testing and other researches defined by work programs.
